Who our pool is aimed at

Our pool is suitable for disabled people and their carer. We ask you to make an initial visit to check that the pool can meet your needs.

We allow two users, from the same party, in the pool at one time. 

• Make an appointment for an initial visit
• Provide evidence of your public liability insurance, as appropriate
• Respect the privacy and security of knowing the entrance keycode
• Leave the pool in a tidy and presentable manner - ready for the next pool users
• Provide your own towels, shampoos, shower gel etc and any personal care that may be required
• Bring any float, armbands, goggles or other water aid which is required
• Respect the speed limit when driving through Hepscott Park
• Each carer must have a working mobile phone in case of an emergency

We hold general liability insurance and all of the pool users are asked to show their public liability insurance, as appropriate. There are daily checks of the levels of chlorine, pH etc and pool maintenance is checked and assessed 4 x a year by the official pool installers.

Pool users should conduct their own risk assessment and have in place necessary procedures which meet the needs of the person they are supporting.

We recommend that you make your first swimming appointment with a physiotherapist who could outline the most suitable programme for you. We can recommend an independent physiotherapy practice if this was felt appropriate.

Please note this would be subject to an additional cost, direct with the physiotherapy practice, and not included in the price of the session.

Please note, we offer sessions 1 - 6 Monday to Friday and sessions 1 - 5 on Saturdays. 

We are closed on Sundays.

Session 1 0930 - 1100

Session 2 1100 - 1230

Session 3 1230 - 1400

Session 4 1400 - 1530

Session 5 1530 - 1700

Session 6 1700 - 1830

If you need to cancel a session we ask for at least 24 hours notice, failure to do so will result in full session price.

 Our pricing is as follows:

Single Client (+ support)   £30 per session 

Private Family Groups   £30 per session 

Multiple Clients (+ support)   £40 per session

Payment can be by cash, cheque, invoice or internet banking and is required by the session date.
